Tom is a writer, director and performer based in London, best known for playing Aston Lange in The Royals (E!), writing and performing (as Eric Chapman) in the Prix Europa-nominated podcast sitcom Wooden Overcoats (available now on all podcast platforms), and as the playwright behind the stage adaptation of the Rocky Horror sequel, Shock Treatment (King’s Head, 2015).
Tom's modernised adaptation of Charles Dickens's Great Expectations (which he directed as the Old Red Lion Theatre's Christmas show in 2017) was published by Methuen in 2017 and is now available in all good bookshops.
Tom is the founder and Artistic Director of Crowley & Co., a creative production company. Under that banner, he has produced and directed a number of award-winning and nominated productions at London's VAULT Festival including a two-week takeover called The Locker at the 2016 festival. He also directed Felix Trench’s Radioman (Old Red Lion, 2016), his own adaptation of Great Expectations (Old Red Lion, 2017) and a regular variety show called The Night. In 2017, Crowley & Co. won the Outstanding Contribution to VAULT Festival Award.
